Anne Hathaway to star in Catwoman spin-off?!

It’s very possible! Both she and director Christopher Nolan are interested!

"If Nolan’s interested, I’m very interested," Hathaway, who plays Selina Kyle (Catwoman), told a media tabloid. "I think it would be lovely to see more of her, but only if it’s with the right people. She lives in this Gotham City, and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."

Nolan himself even thinks the Actress deserves her own film saying, “Anne is incredibly precise and articulate about the psychology of the character. She’s really built it from the ground up, it’s a delight to watch her perform, the things she does in those heels is not to be taken lightly… I certainly think she deserves her own solo movie, she’s incredible.”

Please, please, please let this happen!! OMG!!

2 weeks and 4 days until “The Dark Knight Rises” hits theaters!!!!!!

I JUST CAN’T WAIT!!!!!

“I felt so lucky that most of my scenes were with Christian because he’s one of the world’s greatest actors and he and Chris do have a shorthand. They have such an ease working together that it helped me relax, especially in the early days. Here I am working with Christian Bale and Chris Nolan is directing me and Wally Pfister is lighting me and I’m in a catsuit. It was somewhat overwhelming. I think because Christian had been there for so long, he just was so calm, always quick to laugh and have a good time but at the same time was really serious about work. He set such a great example and it was just really easy to kind of fall in step.” Hathaway also laughed off being seen an action star hero, saying that the fantasy elements of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ were bizarre at times, “It’s funny, the things that are so far outside the norm that you get used to, like doing flips and walking alongside Christian Bale, who’s dressed as Batman and I’m dressed as Catwoman… and we’re just talking like people do.” -Anne Hathaway to SFX magazine

"I loved Catwoman’s sense of humor. I love how sly she is. I love how she, to use a cat metaphor, walks the fence and you don’t know which side she’s going to come down on. She’s totally independent. And let’s face it, she’s badass.” - Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway Talks Catwoman…

"What’s come before doesn’t limit or even affect this new version. It doesn’t affect me because each Catwoman – and this is true in the comics as well – she is defined by the context of the Gotham City created around her. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Catwoman was informed by Tim Burton’s Gotham and Eartha Kitt was informed by Adam West’s Gotham. You have to live in whatever the reality of the world is and whatever Gotham is."
